Mark H. Weiner, M.D.
Mark H. Weiner, M.D., a native Floridian, is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Miami School of Medicine and graduated in the top ten percent of his class as an Alpha Omega scholar
After his internship at the Beth Israel Medical Center, Dr. Weiner completed an ophthalmology residency at the renowned New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. He completed his oculoplastic surgery fellowship at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.
Dr. Weiner is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
His desire to help those less fortunate led Dr. Weiner to participate in the Florida Surgical Eye Expeditions to developing countries. Other charities supported by Dr. Weiner include Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, Medical Missions in Honduras and Ecuador, and he is a volunteer surgeon for the Caridad Clinic in Boynton Beach.
His many achievements include honors such as Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society at the University of Miami School of Medicine and the American Academy of Ophthalmology Achievement Award. Dr. Weiner has been recognized as a Top South Florida Ophthalmologist in many publications identifying top physicians in South Florida.
In his leisure time, Dr. Weiner is an active soccer coach and player, enjoys basketball, tennis, building computers and spending time with his family.
