Howard B. Goldman M.D
Dr. Goldman is a graduate of Columbia University and the New York University School of Medicine, completed a year of post-graduate education in general surgery, but found his destiny in microsurgery of the eye. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Montefiore/Einstein Medical Complex in New York City. He is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Goldman is proud to have been recognized by Castle Connolly as a “Top Doc” for many years.
This designation is the result of area physicians naming him as someone who they would consult themselves and send their family to.
A specialist in cataract surgery, he used his skills to help relieve cataract blindness in developing countries including Jamaica, Mexico, Guyana, Ecuador and Panama under the auspices of Surgical Eye Expeditions International, organizing and participating in over 20 missions from 1981 to 2001. When travel became more complicated following 9/11, he helped develop a relationship with the Caridad Clinic in Boynton Beach and Eye Associates. Caridad serves those without health insurance including the working poor. Eye Associates devotes many hours to seeing Caridad patients and has an annual Gift of Sight Day during which we perform needed eye surgery gratis on those who would otherwise not have access to such care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Goldman is a fitness buff, enjoys growing orchids, fishing and spending time with his wife and three grandchildren.
